For most of us, H&M’s designer collaborations are the closest we’ll get to owning something designed by fashion heavyweights like Alexander Wang, Karl Lagerfeld and Versace. If you’re a fan of Kenzo, but not a fan of paying $400 for a sweatshirt, then listen up.
H&M have just announced that they are pairing up with the Parisian streetwear label to produce a range to be released this November. This follows H&M’s 2014 collaboration with Balmain, which totally blew up. It saw queues outside stores worldwide and saw items being resold for 10 times their retail price on eBay.
So what can you expect from this new collaboration? “With this collaboration with H&M, we want to think big, push the boundaries and bring the new energy of Kenzo to everyone around the world,” said the head designers. As it is Kenzo, you can probably expect a whole lot of tigers on t-shirts, some glamorous athletic pieces, and lots of oversized logos.
Stay tuned for more details and prep your credit cards because we think it’s going to be a big one.
