For most of us, online shopping is more of an addiction than a hobby. We’re all about feeding that addiction but we know it can be a little expensive if you don’t know how to do it right. These are our top hacks to getting the best bargain online.
We know that Mondays can be hard, but if you hold off until Tuesday then you could be getting a better deal. For some reason, Tuesday seems to be the day that ecommerce stores tend to post new sales and switch up their merchandise.
Have you noticed that when you add something in your cart but don’t buy, you often get emailed a promo code from that store in the next few days? This probably isn’t a coincidence. Ecommerce stores send out discount codes to prompt you into buying. Give this a try next shop.
Compare before you commit to buy. Type in the name of the product to Google and make sure it isn’t offered for cheaper elsewhere. Whilst it may be the same price, another store could offer cheaper shipping or a good membership program. So don’t be afraid to shop around.
Make sure you know what it will look like on a ‘real’ person. Take your body shape into account and don’t buy if the store doesn’t have straight on, descriptive photos rather than highly edited and styled images.
Think you love it but not 100% sure? Wait two full days before committing to buy. If you’re still thinking about it then go ahead and buy.
