It’s probably for the best that Taylor Swift is currently far away from Hollywood as she’s been having a bit of a rough week. Whilst Swift has been shacked up in Australia with new beau Tom Hiddleston, there have been a few people who aren’t too happy with her back in Hollywood.
On a preview for the next episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim talks to sister Kourtney about the reason she decided to discuss Taylor in her latest interview for GQ.
“I never talk sh*t about anyone publicly, especially in interviews, but I’ve so had it. I just felt like I wanted to defend Kanye,”
“She (Taylor) legitimately quote says, ‘As soon as I get on that Grammy red carpet I’m gonna tell all the press I was in on it”.
These comments continue on from Kim’s comments in GQ regarding hubby Kanye’s new song Famous, which references Taylor Swift. Swift has continued to deny that she had any knowledge of the song prior to it’s release, whilst Kanye, and now Kim, claim that there is video evidence of Taylor giving her absolute approval prior to it’s release.
Kim goes on, claiming that Taylor’s reaction to the Famous video is just “another way to play the victim” seeing as “it definitely got her a lot of attention the first time”, referring to the infamous “I’mma let you finish” moment at the 2009 MTV awards where Kanye interrupted Taylor’s acceptance speech.
These new claims come after a week of dressing downs for Taylor, who’s ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris took to Twitter to once and for all confirm that the Katy Perry versus Taylor Swift feud is definitely a thing. He basically accuses Taylor of being a manipulative mean girl with nothing better to do than mess with peoples lives. So guess this won’t be the amicable break up we thought it would be.
Katy Perry weighed in on the situation via a GIF of Hillary Clinton that perfectly sums up our reaction. Hollywood, eh?
