All of us have some pretty embarrassing photos in the family album, but fortunately for us, no one other than grandma is particularly interested in seeing them. If you’re an award-winning actress, however, the whole world shows interest.
Margot Robbie appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night and looked every bit the blonde bombshell in her matching Gucci pyjama set and gold mules. She made herself pretty damn comfy on the talk show hosts grey couch, crossing her legs and settling in with a cup of tea.
Her sense of comfort was short lived, as conversation soon turned to her obsession with Harry Potter. Her director in Tarzan, David Yates, directed a few of the Harry Potter movies back in the day and Margot Robbie was quick to announce how star struck she was meeting him.
Much to her surprise, Kimmell was already aware of this fact, sharing a photo of Margot at age 13 sitting in bed reading Harry Potter.
“Literally the most embarrassing photo of my whole life,” she laughed, revealing that the photo was actually taken on her birthday – no wild parties for her then.
“I’m drinking a cup of tea. I’m in bed. I’m clearly enjoying myself, reading Harry Potter. I have braces, which I had for two years. I was really into slicking my hair back – God knows why – and I’m wearing glasses, which I didn’t actually need. I have 20/20 vision and I lied to get glasses so I could look like Harry Potter.”
We didn’t know how we could love her more but this takes the cake.
