Hate them or love them, you gotta admit that the Kardashian women know how to do makeup. They are hardly ever without their team of beauticians, make up artists and hair stylists so they’ve learnt their fair share of insider tips and tricks along the way. We have rounded up their top 10 tips to help you Kardashify your beauty routine.
1. Switch up your hair products
Kim Kardashian swears by changing up her shampoo and conditioner every couple of washes. She also suggests waiting a few days between washes. This keeps your hair guessing and stops it from over producing oil or from stripping it of moisture unnecessarily.
2. Contour in numbers
For the ultimate contour, Kim suggests brushing your bronzer on in the shape of a three on each side of your face. “I go cheekbones, under chin and then the top. I love Smashbox Bronze Lights because it doesn’t have sparkle in it”.
3. Get out the sticky tape
Kylie Jenner revealed her trick to perfectly on point eye makeup every time. She applies clear sticky tape under the eye in an up wards direction, and then puts on her eye shadow and liner. This ensures that no fall out goes on the skin under your eyes, and it gives you a super sharp, clean line.
4. Layer like a player
You might be used to applying your illuminator as a last step, but Khloe’s makeup artist Joyce Bonelli always applies underneath the starlet’s foundation. This gives a more natural ‘lit-from-within’ look than over the top illuminator and is a lot more subtle.
5. Keep eyebrows on point
According to Kimmy K, you need two brow shades to create the most natural and full looking brow. Apply the darker shade in the middle and underneath of your brow, and the lighter colour on the outer corners.
Kim Kardashian’s makeup artist, Mario Dedivanovic, tells clients to breathe in through their nose when applying makeup, but especially eyeliner and shadow. This is because your eyes are less likely to water than if you breathe through your mouth.
